Another Bob Watson Motor Sport Publication.

No, I am not running another outback rally (thank god for that, I hear you cry). Instead I have been spending my time writing a book on the history of the Light Car Club of Australia, titled Phillip Island to Fangio. This was a challenge, but an enjoyable one, and I have learned a lot in the process.

I am marketing the book myself (in other words, it will not generally be available from bookshops), although some of the specialist motor book shops will have stocks. If you are interested in buying a copy, the book is available on pre-print order at the special price of $30 for car clubs and motor sport people like yourselves. The book is currently being printed and when stocks arrive in early October the price will be $39.95.

Christie from Cartwright Motor Group sent this email on with the attached PDF on the new RS Clio Gordini Edition.  Christie also sent the following link  http://www.renault.com/en/PassionSport/Pages/renault-relance-gordini.aspx to the Renault International website with lots of info on Gordini history.  When you go to the web site, by all means watch the video but note that there is a link to the right under 'Passion & Sport' called 'Gordini, the legacy of the "sorcerer"' this link is a good one and as web sites invariably do has even more links to cool stuff on Gordini including more video clips and a PDF book.  Well worth a look but you need a little time to check it all out.

Also in case you have not been watching TV, reading newspapers, or reading threads on AussieFrogs you may not be aware that the Megane 3 hatch has finally arrived in the land down under and is now in Renault showrooms.
